Did your view of women in sport change as a result of this course? Why or why not?

My view of women in sports has definitely changed as a result of this course. It is admiring how women have fought to obtain their rights in sports. For example, how they fought for their rights and as result Title IX was established. Title IX has already made an impact in women’s right and has helped women to further their education. It has given many women a support stating that they should not be discriminated because of their gender. My view of women in sports has changed since drastically since I started taking this course.

If someone asked you, “what did you learn in KIN 338I,” how would you respond?

If someone asked me what did you learn in KIN 338i my initial respond would be I have learned so much. I have learned how women have struggled and someway or another continue to struggle on demonstrating themselves as strong athletes. How women have played sports for years however, initially the media was not giving them the attention they deserved. The struggle continues as some of the current media coverage they reserves portrays them more in sexual image than the strong athletes they are. I have learned a lot of women in sports.
